In just three years since its inception, "Ocean Blue" has emerged as a leader in the nascent Indian boating industry with several leading domestic and international companies turning to their expertise for boating and waterfront related projects.
Ocean Blue is recognized as a pioneer in introducing boating to Indians and is credited with a number of firsts.
A list of firsts that is second to none

- Launched the idea of holding a Mumbai Boat Show at the Cannes Boat Show and received a tremendous response |

- Conceived and organised India’s first world class boat show, the Mumbai International Boat Show (MIBS*) |

- Launched India’s first luxury boating publication, India Boating*. |
| |
- Installed the first temporary marina at the Gateway of India in 2007 for the inaugural MIBS |

- Organised and managed India’s first ever commercial sailing regatta, MIBS Navy Cup |

| 2008 |
- Organised and managed India’s largest regatta, Nautica SMIBS Navy Cup |
| |
- Established India’s first and only service yard near Mumbai |
| |
- Co-promoted India’s first & only state-of-the-art aluminium manufacturing yard |

- Co-promoted India’s first and only state-of-the-art fibre glass manufacturing yard |

- Managed the first Indian stopover of the prestigious Volvo Ocean Race at Kochi, Kerala |

| 2009 |
- Introduced India’s first boat showroom situated a minute away from the iconic Gateway of India, which is also the gateway to an emerging boating lifestyle in India |

- First to provide charter solutions customized to clients’ needs with a printed rate card |

- Acquired New Wave Distributors, integrating the world’s leading brands into the Ocean Blue portfolio |

| 2010 |
- Builders and managers of India’s first world class marina – the Kochi International Marina at Bolgatty Island |

|
| 2011 |
- Designed and constructed a marina for the Indian Naval Academy in Ezimalah, Kerala |
| |
- Acquired the rights to manage the water sports facility at Lavasa, India’s first planned hill city |
