Thrilling Water Sports

Mandwa, located 8 nautical miles on the mainland across Mumbai harbour has become a landmark location for weekend getaways. With a number of cottages, villas and mansions coming up, Alibaug is shaping up to become the Hamptons of Mumbai!

So, what better way to spend your morning than to embark on the spacious Lagoon 560 from the Gateway of India and sail towards Mandwa. Located within the mouth of the Mumbai Harbor, one will enjoy a leisurely sail within protected waters.

As you near Mandwa, you will see a dramatically different and idyllic countryside landscape of palms trees and a vast white beach against a lush green hilly background. We anchor approximately a one nautical mile off the Mandwa Beach (to ensure your privacy) while the water sports equipment is bought to the boat so you can enjoy some thrilling water sports and rides that will get your adrenaline pumping! Be it a jet ski ride, or splashing around on a banana boat or even burning some calories on a kayak!

After all the excitement, enjoy a leisurely brunch mid-sea and laze in the afternoon breeze as you sail back to Mumbai.

Suggested Itenerary

12 PM - Depart from Mumbai (Gateway of India) and sail as you sail away from the Mumbai towards Mandwa with sea gulls flying alongside for company (Tip, a few bread crumbs and a handy camera make for some great shots with these master aviators)
1:30 PM to 4:30 PM - We anchor one nautical mile off the Mandwa beach while water sports equipment is brought alongside for your enjoyment. Spend some time jet skiing, then topple over into the water on a banana boat ride or spend some time kayaking to burn the extra energy! For those not participating in the water sports, a sumptuous lunch spread awaits you with the kitchen open and wine flowing from the time we anchor at Mandwa to the time we return to Gateway of India.
4:30 PM to 6 PM –Cruise back to Mumbai and disembark at Gateway of India
